Welcome to my website. If you're seeing this, I've finally emerged from the html, sed, and bash gulags to finally put a bow on the current iterative design of this. The secret sauce bringing everything together is the completion of lg(1), the analogous tool for galleries to lg(1). There's plenty of """static""" site-style gallery engines out there, but that wasn't really good enough for me, as most of them are javascript dumpster fires that spit something out. lg's claim to fame is the same as lb's: cohesion with your pre-existing html, and the simplicity of just work(tm)ing for anyone that's comfortable with the command line.
If you're interested too, lg's git repo can be found here for your perusal.
"Completion" is a bit of an overstatement, but it's good enough to use "in production" for me, and many of the low-hanging fruit bugs have been squashed. At a minimum, it is at least in its first beta. I'm not nearly confident in my own scripting skills to verify it's perfect, but it at least enables me to post poorly-drawn memes to a rolling gallery. And, if you're seeing this, it means that the scripting spat out html in just the right way to be confident enough to share it to nobody, because nobody vists my webzone.
